Welcome to Xplicit Hair Studio! Our salon is renowned for offering state-of-the-art, plant-based treatments, and utilizing high-tech amenities to provide healthy hair and scalp care services. We believe that healthy hair starts within...with good nutrition, clean products, and hairstyles that promote healthy hair! We know every head of hair is different; therefore, a hair consultation is given before services, so we can tailor our services based on your individual needs and requirements.
We refrain from offering any hair services that might harm the integrity of your hair. Our commitment to working closely with each client on their journey to healthy hair is reflected in our prices, as demonstrated by our 25+ years of expertise, exceptional services, and our inviting, professional, and relaxing ambiance. Salon Policies
We are committed to you as our guest and providing you the best salon experience! Help us by following our policies, please and thank you. :)
ONLINE BOOKINGS
All appointments must be booked online using our Online Booking Portal.
GUEST POLICY
No additional guests are allowed with you during your scheduled appointment unless your guest is also receiving services.
SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIMES
-Please arrive 5-15 minutes early prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive late, we reserve the right not to provide all of the services you've requested. We respect others' time.
-A late fee will be applied if you arrive more than 15 minutes late or you may be asked to reschedule.
CONSULTATIONS
A consultation is required prior to providing hair coloring, extensions, relaxers, and other treatments. Clients who would like to start services in our Hair Loss/Hair Restoration Clinic may click here to start the Intake Process.
DEPOSITS
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Deposits go toward services! All deposits are non-refundable. Please see our Cancellation Policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All appointments must be cancelled AT LEAST 48 hours PRIOR TO your appointment date and time. Failure to notify us of any cancellation will result in a $45 non-cancellation fee.
NO SHOWS & EXCESSIVE CANCELLATIONS
48 hours advance notice is required of any cancellation, otherwise, you will lose your deposit. If you fail to cancel your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time, you will forfeit deposit. We also reserve the right to refuse services to Client who have excessive cancellations.
PRICE VARIATIONS
Prices listed in our Online Booking Portal may increase depending on your hair length, thickness, time, and treatments needed.
COVID POLICY
If you are ill or if someone in your household is ill or has been experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, we reserve the right to refuse services at that time.
ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS, & MEDICATIONS
Please advise us of any allergies, medical conditions, or changes to your health status prior to any services being conducted. We cannot be held responsible if a client does not disclose pertinent health information.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept Apple Pay, Visa, MasterCard, or Cash. Financing is available for our Hair Restoration Services only.
PRE-BOOKINGS/PREFERRED TIME SLOTS
Appointments are limited due to our existing clientele and high demand. To secure your preferred time slot, it's best to book in advance and pre-book before leaving the salon.
How To Prepare For Your Visit
Preparation Guidelines
NATURAL HAIR
Please remove and detangle all protective styles prior to coming to your appointment. Detangling Tip: Use any cream conditioner or water for slip, use fingers to detangle followed with a wide tooth comb, then put into 4 big twists.
RELAXED HAIR
Please do not shampoo, brush, or scratch your scalp within 2 days prior to this service. If you are coming out of a protective style to avoid any scalp irritations, it's best to remove protective styles and shampoo/condition a week prior to relaxing.
HAIR COLORING SERVICES
Your hair must be shampooed, detangled, and stretched if you are natural. First time color clients require a color test to avoid allergic reactions. Hair styles, trims and treatments are an additional fee.
HAIR EXTENSIONS/CROCHET BRAIDS
A 50% deposit is required to book. Your hair must be detangled prior to coming to the salon. Trims, deep conditioning and scalp treatments are an additional fee.
