DeBorah L. McCampbell, is the owner of Xplicit Hair Studio/Hair Restoration, located in San Diego California. She has over 25+ years of experience as a Cosmetologist and has been a salon owner since 1999. She is one of San Diego, California's most sought after Natural Hair Care Specialists serving the Black and African American women and teen girl community.
She also is a natural coily hair girl so she can relate to the natural hair community challenges. She is a lifelong learner who is always seeking to grow. She is passionate about teaching women on hair and scalp wellness to help them maintain healthy hair to avoid hair loss and scalp disorders. She is known for providing healthy hair care services.

DeBorah is also a Board-Certified Trichologist, specializing in alopecia (hair loss), hair thinning, and scalp disorders. She added this certification to her skills after seeing the need of women and children in the black community suffering from hair loss. She combines her faith with science, technology, clinical proven products, consistency, and experience to restore hair to its healthy state, and to deliver top notch services.
DeBorah has always had a passion to help others, especially women-- and the beauty industry gave her the platform she needed to share her knowledge, humor, and compassion with those in need. DeBorah has a vast knowledge in hair and scalp care. Her goal is to help every client achieve and maintain optimal hair and scalp health through education and individualized treatments to restore balance to their hair.
DeBorah’s passion for the hair industry started as a young child as she tagged along with her mother to the salon. Her dream was to become a Cosmetologist and Salon Owner, however, her path initially led her to Corporate America where she would gain much business knowledge. DeBorah never gave up on her dream so when the opportunity presented itself, she took it and went to Beauty College! Then after five years, with the help of her husband, she opened her own salon.

DeBorah is also a Minister of the Word of God, Motivational Speaker, Best-Selling Author, and Certified Cosmetologist Business Coach. She is passionate about empowering women through education. She educates cosmetologists on hair loss awareness, how to earn more and work less behind the chair so they can do what matters most, and how to prepare for a prosperous retirement.
DeBorah attributes her path of success to God, her business knowledge from Corporate America, and the knowledge learned from other stylist and salon owners. To date, DeBorah continues to serve the Black, African American community and operates a successful salon.
