Telogen Effluvium (TE) hair loss is an excessive amount of hair shedding from the entire scalp and is known as diffuse hair loss. It is a stress-induced hair loss that happens when a sudden or major trauma happens in a person’s life causing severe stress, such as death, sudden weight loss, surgery, home buying, college life, or divorce.

Hair growth has 3 phases Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. The Telogen phase is the third phase of the hair growth cycle, it is when the old hair sheds preparing to shift to the Anagen phase the growth phase. This typically happens 2-3 months after the trauma. But when severe stress happens to a person the Anagen phase is interrupted, and hair shifts back to the telogen shed phase. Although hair loss is very alarming, this type of hair loss is temporary, and usually, within 6-9 months the hair is replaced if no other diagnosis is involved.

Hair Loss Solution:

  • Try techniques that lower stress.

  • Have your blood levels checked for deficiencies etc.

  • Take quality supplements such as Tresstoration Rx Nutrients.

  • After shedding implement Laser hair therapy.
